Graphic Design – Leaflet Design

7 Steps to Create a Successful 3-Fold Leaflet1. Define Purpose & Audience
What is the leaflet for?
1. Promotion? Information? Medical? Restaurant?
2. Who will read it? (age, interest, problem)
3. What action do you want? (Call / Visit / Buy) If this step is weak, the whole leaflet fails.

2. Plan Content Structure (6 Panels Thinking)
A tri-fold has 6 panels, not 1 page
1. Front cover (hook)
2.Inside panels (main content)
3. Back panel (contact / CTA)

Typical layout:
1. Panel 1: Cover
2. Panel 2–4: Core message
3. Panel 5: Supporting info
4. Panel 6: Contact / CTA

3. Write Compelling Copy Short, clear, benefit-driven
1. Headlines first (very important)
2, Bullet points > long paragraphs
3. Focus on benefits, not features
Example:
“High quality service”
“Save time & reduce cost in 7 days”

4. Prepare Images & Branding
Visual = 50% of success
1. Use real photos (not too generic)
2. Consistent color palette
3. Logo + brand identity
.
5. Design Panel Layout (Tri-Fold Logic) This is where many people fail
Key rules:
1. Flow must follow fold sequence
2. Keep spacing (white space)
3. Align text properly
Panel strategy:
1. Cover = Eye-catching
2. Inside = Storytelling
3. Back = Trust + contact

6. Add Call-To-Action (CTA)
Tell people what to do next
1. Call now
2. Visit website
3. Scan QR code
4. Book appointment
No CTA = wasted leaflet

7. Print & Distribution Strategy
Design is useless without delivery
1. Print quality (paper, finish)
2. Fold accuracy
3. Where to distribute:
For Example:
 Shops
 Events
 Mailbox
 Clinics
